Yaoguai with its fire AOE attack and Shadowstalkers
This demon Boss resembles a big, burning bull. It lives on Mount Qiyun and blocks your Journey to the Jade Palace during the main quest line.

As a boss monster it is immune to Controls and almost immune to percent health and energy damage.
Abilities[]
- Fire Attacks: Yaoguai deals some Fire Damage with its basic melee attacks.
- Demon Charge: Yaoguai rushes forward dealing a lot of Physical Damage. Running away from him can make him stop his charge before he hits you.
- Flame Ring: Deals a huge amount of Burn Damage in a large zone around him in 1 second. It may instant kill you in Epic and Legendary as it can deal up to 9,130 (Epic) and 19,299 (Legendary) Burn Damage in 1 second with 0% Fire Resistance.
- Gore: After moving and jumping around a few seconds, Yaoguai deals Physical Damage and tons of Bleeding Damage in 0.5 second to all nearby enemies. (It will deal up to 6,317 Bleeding Damage in 0.5 second in Legendary with 0% Bleeding Resistance)
- Summon Shadow Stalkers: Summons four Shadowstalkers.

Recommended Resistances:
The special attacks deal extreme amounts of damage, so killing it from a distance while constantly moving or using a well-equipped Defense hero are your best bets for surviving this battle. You can run away from its AoE attack to reduce the number of damage pulses you get hit by. Notice that it won't use Charge at close ranges. Pets (whether from Mastery skills or Scroll summons) may provide additional help in dealing damage or as distractions.
