Lili the Nixie is a bit of a scatterbrain and didn't notice the marshlands around her (now) mud puddle drying up. Which must have taken weeks. That flock of bilwisse currently attacking her made her start thinking. And think she did "let's relocate to the river and lake where all the other nixies hang out". But the former marshlands are crawling with monsters that all hate on nixies (no surprise there, with how annoying it is to kill them as a melee fighter while they run all over the place after each shot). Even this nixie sometimes has great insights, and hers is: The enemy of my enemy is my friend. So she asks the hero to escort her to the other nixies (which will promptly attack selfsame hero and die, but who needs friends anyway). Sounds like a well thought out plan. Let's do this!
- From the Glauberg portal in The North (Act V) head several regions northeast to the Wild Heathlands. There are two big mud puddles in this region and Lili is rolling around in the eastern one. Save her from the bilwisse and talk to her twice (NOT three times).
- Then clear a wide path to the Suebi Lakelands of monsters. Lili is as brittle as glass and pulls the aggro of everything near her. So unless you want to pick her up again from her mud puddle every time she dies, clear the path first.
- Talk to Lili a third time. She'll now follow you. As soon as you get close to the lake / river, she should stop following you. She is saved and the quest complete.
Note: Should Lili die, you can pick her up again at her mud puddle.
