The Night Mistress
The Night Mistress ~ Empusa Hero is an empusa monster hero and one of the four bosses for the Hades' Treasury side quest in Hades, Act IV. She is a caster and mostly deals vitality damage.
Although The Night Mistress is not very dangerous by herself, she's always accompanied by a group of gigantes, amongst which an extremely dangerous Dactyl can spawn at random.
Upon being defeated, The Night Mistress drops the Soul Stone quest item.

- When not in close combat The Night Mistress uses a large Area of Effect ranged attack that drains mana and life (see image). She uses that attack repeatedly, about once every ten seconds. If the hero stays close to her she is less threatening.

The Night Mistress always appears in the Polis Daemonai near the exit to the next location.
