Staves are a class of weapons in Titan Quest, primarily used by spellcasters. Staves are ranged two-handed weapons dealing base elemental damage, either Lightning, Fire, or Cold with Very Slow attack speed. The elemental damage of staves benefits from corresponding Elemental Damage bonuses of items and skills. Also staves always have + Energy Regeneration bonus on them. Some MI, Epic and Legendary staves deals Poison, Vitality, Physical or multiple elemental damages.

Staves are unique amongst weapons, as they are the only weapons that have no strength or dexterity requirements, however they have extremely high intelligence requirements as a result.

Ternion Attack is the only skill that requires a Staff.
