Shrine

A Shrine of Thorns in the desert.

Shrines are objects that will give a temporary buff or a instant benefit when clicked. The effect always lasts for 60 seconds (20 seconds in battles with Typhon) and buffs are also shown near the character's portrait to the top left.

The positions, where shrines could appear, are fixed. However, the type of shrine is often generated randomly when (re)loading the game and there's no guarantee that a shrine will appear at all.

The first shrines found are within the Satyr Shamans camp, north of the starting town Helos. They are either healing or regeneration type shrines, supposed to assist in the first 'boss battle'.

Shrine of Health[]

Instantly restores full health.

Shrine of Regeneration[]

Creates an aura around the shrine lasting 40 seconds, which regenerates 7% of maximum health and energy each pulse for those nearby.

Battle Marker[]

Attack speed and damage are increased.

+80% Total Damage
+60% Attack Speed
+60% Casting Speed
+5% Movement Speed

Shrine of Experience[]

You have been granted great wisdom and acuity of mind, significantly increasing how quickly you can gain experience.

+50% Increased Experience

Shrine of Mastery[]

Grants the player improved proficiency with all skills.

+4 to all skills

Note: Shrine of Mastery is supposed to lower all Energy Costs by 35%, but it uses wrong entry in DBR (skillManaCostReductionModifier instead of skillManaCostReduction which acts like a modifier nonetheless) and thus does not work.

Shrine of Frostbite[]

The player's weapon is infused with the essence of frost, slowing enemies greatly and causing small amounts of damage.

Trivia[]

There were supposed to be Energyzing Shrines reducing Energy Costs and Cooldowns in the game. You can still find one in Olympus around Typhon.

There are also some files coding for a "Wind Shrine" increasing projectile speed and a "Gold Shrine" increasing gold incomes.
