Reduction to Enemy's Health is a special type of direct damage. It is a type of Vitality Damage (Life Damage) and its effect is reduced by Vitality Resistance.
The damage reads as "XX% Reduction to Enemy's Health" and it reduces the target's current health by the given percentage. The effect dimishes as the target loses its health.
Undead monsters, Devices and Constructs are 'immune' to this type of damage, though this 'immunity' can be broken using -xx% Vitality (Damage) Resistance or -xx% to All Resistances modifiers.
The following skills use this type of damage:
- Spirit Mastery: Deathchill Aura, the Liche King's Spectral Bolt (standard attack) and Death Nova (synergy skill), and the Outsider's Ether Strike special ability
- Nature Mastery: Plague and the Wolves' Maul attack and the Nymph's bow attack
- Hunting Mastery: Take Down
- Warfare Mastery: Doom Horn (synergy skill to War Horn)
- Rune Mastery: Seal of Fate
