Arachnos

Arachnos are basically purple, green, or rusty orange colored monsters that are half spider and half man. They are found in several places around Greece (Act I) and usually attack in medium-sized groups. Although not difficult individually, their pack-nature can make them dangerous.

Arachnos Variants

• Regular: Weakest breed between their brethren. Noticeable by their brown carapace.
• Baleful: More dangerous breed with purple carapace.

Arachnos Types

• Drone: Basic melee warriors. They equipped with close combat weapon and sometimes pieces of Arachos armor. They dealing low amount of damage and almost never can be a threat on they own. Recommended Resistances: Physical, Piercing
• Soldier: A bit more tougher and bigger melee warriors than Drones. Usually have better and more armor, but their damage still unimpressive. They range between Normal, Veteran and Elite version. Each one is stronger than previous. Recommended Resistances: Physical, Piercing
• Deathspinner ( Champion ): Strong melee fighter, who can shoot balls of spider net from afar to immobilize their target and buy himself time for shorten the distance to the enemy. Also he have aura, which increasing his and his allies attack speed and can be noticed by faint purple glow under his legs. Deathspinner attacks can inflict Bleeding damage DoT. Recommended Resistances: Physical, Piercing, Bleeding.
• Spellweaver: Ranged attackers who throw poison bolts at their enemies, inflicting Poison DoT. Recommended Resistances: Poison
• Runeweaver: are kind-of spellcasters that will do poison damage

Notes

• All Arachnoses have attack animation unique to their kind. Instead of delivering blow with their weapon, they make a hissing sound with their abdomen and then attack with their front pincers. Despite unique animation, this attack apparently doesn't have any special effects and inflict standart damage.
